Sergio Luiz

I started to train jiu-jitsu with my great close friend Rickson Gracie in 1980 and also with his father Hélio Gracie, the pioneer of jiu-jitsu in Brazil.

I have fought more than 100 fights and today I am a black belt in Rio de Janeiro.

I would like to point out that Marcello C. Monteiro is the best fighter. I admire him for his great guard, one of the best of all jiu-jitsu fighters in the world.

Nowadays, Monteiro became a coach and his students follow his steps also becoming champions.

Sergio "Coruja" Luiz - International and Brazilian National Champion.
